Policy

Booking Policy:
Trips by booking only. Booking agents are liable for full payment of bookings made with us should the guest not arrive. Booking agents are requested to take payment in full, or specifically make other arrangements with us. All bookings confirmed only when payment has been received in full by Animal Ocean. Payments can be made via Credit Card or local EFT and snap scan, no international EFT’s accepted.

Cancellation Policy:
We aim to cancel trips 24 hours ahead of a booked trip, BUT reserve the right to cancel at short notice if the weather conditions are unexpectedly bad. Cancellation within 48 hours of departure and no-shows will receive no refund or change of date. All cancellations prior to 48 hours incur a 10% administration fee.

Please ARRIVE ON TIME – if you have not arrived in time to get ready you will unfortunately miss your trip and will not be liable for a refund.

Refund Policy:
A full refund will be processed if we cancel due to unsuitable weather. Refunds are processed in batches and can take up to 2 weeks to be processed and completed. Please remind us if refund has not occurred. We only refund via the same method that we received the payment from. Please note that we receive payment and refund in ZAR, which may result in slight differences in refund amounts with a fluctuating exchange rate. Please supply us with all the correct banking details if needed.

*Private trips – Cancellation of a trip prior to a week before the trip date will be refunded less a 10% administrative fee. Cancellation of a trip within a week of the booked trip date will not be refunded.
